Michael C. Hayes is a Chicago-based singer/songwriter known for his distinctive vocal tone, thoughtful songwriting, and dynamic one-man-band live looping performances. Performing over 300 shows annually, he brings a versatile and engaging presence to a wide range of events, including festivals, weddings, corporate gatherings, private parties, and upscale venues. His performance credits include renowned stages such as The House of Blues and The Dolby Theater.

In addition to his solo work, Michael leads Chicago’s premier cover band, True Company, providing high-energy, full-band entertainment for larger events. He is also the founder of Proudest Monkey, Chicago’s premier Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds tribute duo, delivering an authentic and captivating take on their iconic acoustic sound.
